• Successfully represented international clients in securities fraud case, obtaining injunction to trap over $6,000,000 in defendants’ bank account and expeditiously obtaining consent judgment returning such amount to clients without the necessity of full trial.
• Obtained seven figure judgment after week-long federal jury trial for individual victim of securities fraud in scheme implemented by multiple defendants.
• Prevailed in week-long Zoom jury trial in will contest claiming lack of capacity, undue influence rejected.
• Obtained equitable settlement for client in bill of review case after responding to summary judgment, establishing question of fact about whether defendant ex-spouse obtained divorce decree and post-martial agreement by means of extrinsic fraud.
• As lead counsel, successfully represented individual accused of trespass and counterclaiming for trespass and conversion. Obtained jury verdict in client’s favor.
• As lead counsel, represented commercial tenant and guarantors in lease dispute, achieving equitable result for clients well short of trial.
• As lead counsel, represented individual in probate dispute with her husband’s children. Obtained efficient and equitable settlement in application to determine heirship proceeding.
• Obtained summary judgment in a hotly contested probate case, rejecting challenges to the validity of a power of attorney that permitted creation of a trust. This led to equitable settlement negating need for trial.
• Represented insurer as co-counsel in the Texas Third Court of Appeals, obtaining judgment reversing trial court judgment based on lack of jurisdiction.
• As lead counsel, represented large franchisee in the fitness club industry in negotiating and drafting over 60 vendor contracts, as well as advising on employment, vendor, and customer issues and disputes.
